Drone video on Thursday shows more progress at the site of Columbia Elementary School, the newest campus for Las Cruces Public Schools. Crews are working on placing concrete on the lower level of the building and construction of the block walls.
The school, which will include more than 103,000 square feet of learning space, will accommodate 752 students from kindergarten to fifth grade. The estimated date of completion is aligned with the start of the 2025-2026 school year.
