Las Cruces Public Schools congratulates our SkillsUSA State Winners.
Students from Centennial, Las Cruces High and Mayfield competed in events that tested their technical expertise, problem-solving abilities, and professionalism. Competitions involved tasks such as building projects, written exams, job interviews, and leadership demonstrations.
The SkillsUSA competition covers a wide range of career specific and leadership contests where students demonstrate their skills in various technical and vocational fields.
First place winners have advanced to national competitions, where they will represent New Mexico and compete against students from across the country. This year’s state winners include:
